# Ndebele National Totem #

The Ndebele Tribe represent nearly two thirds of population in South Africa's Black population.

Forced into an oppressive life, the Ndebele people started using expressive symbols to secretly communicate with each other.

These paintings became an expression of both cultural resistance and continuity. The vibrant symbols and expressions portray communications of personal prayers, self-identificatiton, vlaues, emotions, and marriage.

 

# John Chamberlain #

John Chamberlain was an influential American sculptor best known for his large-scale, crumpled scrap metal works.

 

After working with iron pipes, Chamberlain began to explore the possibilities of twisted the metal sheets.

Our designer enhances the effect of glittering materials with different tones, and reinterpreting John Chamberlain in a simple style in the new season.
